Venus Pipes & Tubes Limited reported revenue of ₹276.4 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2025, marking a 15.1 per cent increase from ₹240.1 crore in the same period last year. The Gujarat-based stainless steel pipes manufacturer achieved an all-time high quarterly revenue despite global trade uncertainties.
However, profitability came under pressure as EBITDA declined 6.3 per cent to ₹44.9 crore, resulting in margins contracting to 16.2 per cent from 20 per cent in Q1FY25. Net profit also fell 9.8 per cent to ₹24.8 crore, with PAT margins dropping to 9 per cent from 11.5 per cent year-on-year.
The company’s export business showed strong momentum, with overseas revenue jumping 69 per cent to ₹103.1 crore, accounting for 37.3 per cent of total revenue. Both product segments contributed to growth, with seamless pipes revenue rising 13 per cent and welded pipes growing 10 per cent year-on-year.
Managing Director Arun Kothari attributed the performance to diversified market reach and strong customer relationships, while acknowledging margin pressure from global supply chain challenges. The power sector showed encouraging demand, strengthening the company’s order book.
Venus Pipes manufactures stainless steel pipes and tubes across seamless and welded categories, exporting to over 30 countries. The company’s capacity expansion projects for fittings and seamless pipes with piercing line are scheduled to begin operations in the second half of FY26.
The shares of Venus Pipes & Tubes Limited were trading today at ₹1,279.50 down by ₹65.60 or 4.88 per cent at the closing bell.
